What to include
Send the article link, identify the statement or media item in question, and provide supporting evidence or a clear explanation. Include only personal information needed to assess the concern.
How we review a concern
The Editorial Team reviews the relevant material and supporting evidence and checks the original sources. A request does not automatically mean a story will be changed or removed.
Corrections and updates
When we make a material factual correction, we add a dated note explaining what changed. Affected headlines, images and captions are reviewed too. New information is identified as an update where appropriate; a clarification explains wording without presenting an established fact as a new development. Minor spelling, punctuation and formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change meaning.
Media rights and other concerns
For an image, video or other rights enquiry, identify the item and explain your connection to the work. Attribution alone does not establish permission to use an item. Privacy and other concerns can be raised through the same Editorial Team contact.
Closed enquiries are deleted after 12 months unless an ongoing dispute or a legal requirement requires retention. See our privacy notice for more information.
